DESCRIPTION:
Tavis Ormandy has reported a vulnerability in NetBSD, which can be
exploited by malicious people to cause a DoS (Denial of Service) and
potentially compromise a vulnerable system.

The vulnerability is caused due to an error within the handling of
encapsulated IPComp (IP Payload Compression Protocol) payloads, which
can be exploited to cause a stack overflow by sending specially
crafted packets to a vulnerable server.

SOLUTION:
Fixed in the CVS repository.
